• गोरखपुर विकास प्राधिकरण (GDA) द्वारा जारी 15 दिन की नोटिस अवधि समाप्त होने के बाद शनिवार (1 मार्च) को समिति ने स्वेच्छा से इमारत गिराने का काम शुरू किया।
• गोरखपुर विकास प्राधिकरण ने आपत्ति जताई और 15 फरवरी को मस्जिद समिति के जिम्मेदार व्यक्ति शोएब अहमद को नोटिस जारी किया था।

Gorakhpur: Mosque Committee Demolishes Illegal Four-Story Mosque After Municipal Notice

• After the 15-day notice period issued by the Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) expired, the committee voluntarily began demolishing the structure on Saturday (March 1).
• The Gorakhpur Development Authority had objected and issued a notice on February 15 to Shoaib Ahmed, the responsible person from the mosque committee.

पहले भी हटाया गया था अवैध निर्माण | Illegal Construction Was Removed Earlier

इससे पहले भी नगर निगम ने इस अवैध ढाँचे को हटाने के लिए कई नोटिस जारी किए थे। कुछ महीने पहले बुलडोजर चलाकर अवैध अतिक्रमण को गिरा दिया गया था, लेकिन बाद में उसी जमीन पर चार मंजिला मस्जिद फिर से बना दी गई। बिना डिजाइन स्वीकृति के बनाए गए इस निर्माण पर गोरखपुर विकास प्राधिकरण ने आपत्ति जताई और 15 फरवरी को मस्जिद समिति के जिम्मेदार व्यक्ति शोएब अहमद को नोटिस जारी किया था।

Earlier, the municipal corporation had issued multiple notices to remove this illegal structure. A few months ago, bulldozers were used to demolish the unauthorized encroachment, but later, a four-story mosque was rebuilt on the same land. The Gorakhpur Development Authority objected to this construction, which was built without design approval, and issued a notice to Shoaib Ahmed on February 15.

GDA का अल्टीमेटम और मस्जिद समिति की कार्रवाई | GDA's Ultimatum and Mosque Committee's Action

GDA के नोटिस में स्पष्ट किया गया था कि यदि 15 दिन के भीतर अवैध निर्माण नहीं हटाया गया तो प्राधिकरण खुद बुलडोजर चलाएगा और इसका खर्च बिल्डर से वसूला जाएगा। इसके बाद, समय सीमा समाप्त होते ही मस्जिद समिति ने खुद निर्माण ध्वस्त करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी। अब इस जमीन पर एक बहुस्तरीय व्यावसायिक परिसर का निर्माण किया जाएगा।

The GDA notice had clearly stated that if the illegal construction was not removed within 15 days, the authority would use bulldozers itself and recover the cost from the builder. Following this, as soon as the deadline expired, the mosque committee initiated the demolition process voluntarily. Now, a multi-story commercial complex will be built on this land.

प्रदेश में जारी है अवैध निर्माणों पर कार्रवाई | Crackdown on Illegal Constructions Continues in the State

गोरखपुर के अलावा, हाल ही में पड़ोसी जिले कुशीनगर में मदनी मस्जिद को भी अवैध निर्माण के चलते गिराया गया था। इसी तरह मेरठ में 85 साल पुरानी जहाँगीर खान मस्जिद को भी ध्वस्त कर दिया गया था। प्रदेश में अवैध रूप से बनी धार्मिक इमारतों और अतिक्रमणों पर प्रशासन सख्ती बरत रहा है।

Apart from Gorakhpur, the Madani Mosque in the neighboring district of Kushinagar was also demolished due to illegal construction. Similarly, the 85-year-old Jahangir Khan Mosque in Meerut was also brought down. The administration is strictly dealing with unauthorized religious structures and encroachments across the state.

नगर निगम और GDA की इस कार्रवाई को कानून व्यवस्था के दायरे में उठाया गया कदम बताया जा रहा है, जिससे भविष्य में अवैध निर्माणों पर लगाम लगाई जा सके।

This action by the municipal corporation and GDA is being seen as a law-enforcement measure to curb illegal constructions in the future.
